Emily Wagner

Emily Wagner is the author of the novel, Go Back. She is a former journalist who is always questioning the what-ifs of the world, hence her preference for science fiction and fantasy. She is an alumna of the Taos Toolbox writing workshop and is a two-time honorable mention of the Writers of the Future contest. Emily lives in Baltimore where she teaches PreK/K ESOL at a Title 1 school. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Charm City, live music, making macramé, re-learning piano, and taking walks with her family.

Praise

"Wagner’s near-future world feels eerily plausible, not only because of its well-conceived technological landscape but also because of its deep psychological insight. Her depiction of Sarah’s longing—for truth, for love, for normalcy—gives the story heart amid its dystopian grit."

What is success anyway?

Last night I checked my Amazon sales...

Life went on and I continued writing, mostly for school, but I didn't really write for pleasure. I...
